Our Booking Process

Betel Nut Lodge is an Adults-Only & Wholly Non-Smoking property and accommodates Guests 15 years and older. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the individual room occupancy details. The person making the Reservation is responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages is the lead Guest allowed to use the property and its facilities-any third party visitors are only allowed access with our expressed permission.

A Reservation is Only Confirmed with a Minimum 50% Pre-Payment of the Total Booking Cost.
For Non-Refundable Bookings (eg Early Bird rate and Peak Periods Dates), a Full Pre-Payment of the Total Cost of the booking is needed to Confirm the booking.

Payments can be made online by credit card through our secure payment gateway, Stripe as well as by digital bank transfer.

Check-in & Check-out Times

• Check-in : 14:00pm.
• Check-out : 12 noon.
• Our Check-in Counter is Open 24 hours. Early Check-in or Late Check-out is subject to room availability on the day in question.
• As a small heritage building, guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of the other staying guests, neighbours at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect should there be complaints of disturbances / nuisance to other guests or neighbours.

Cancellation / Amendment / No-Show Policy

• Full Refund of Pre-Payment for Cancellation/Amendment made 15 days or more before check-in date(except Non-Refundable Bookings).
• 50% of Total Room Cost will be Charged if Guest Cancels/Amend 14 days or less before check-in date.(except Non-Refundable Bookings).
• No Refund for No Show or Cancellation/Amendment of less than 48 Hours before check-in.

In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us for circumstances beyond our control, our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.

WiFi Appropriate Usage Policy

All Rooms and public areas of Betel Nut Lodge is connected to high-speed WiFi. In addition, room’s internet has individual IP address that allows user to use the WiFi with a greater degree of security.

The Internet access provided is intended for general use of messaging, emails, social media, video / music / media streaming. It is not intended for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge guest for any damages caused during their stay. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys / fobs / access cards will incur a replacement charge per key / fob / card lost.

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. Guest will need to make the arrangements to collect their left property.

Smoking/Drug Use.

Drug Use and Use of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is Not allowed Anywhere in Betel Nut Lodge.

Pets

We do not accept pets/animals throughout the accommodation.

Parking

Parking is Public Street parking that costs about RM8 per day(except public holidays & Sundays) and Cannot be Reserved. Guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.
