TEAFFIN CAFE, newly minted end of November 2023 is the newest facility on the ground floor of Betel Nut Lodge. Our quiet lounge area with an air well courtyard with plants is now a cafe. Underused previously, this space is now a cozy cafe with a Penang Peranakan ambiance with antiques object d’art, and furniture. Equipped with its own High-Speed WiFi and, designed with the slogan “Coffee & Friends-the Perfect Blend”, it is a great place to relax, mingle and perhaps, make a friend or two!

OUR ROOMS- Though limited by space in a heritage building, we take pride in affording our guests a great stay in a modest-size room that is clean & cozy. Our room’s quality linen and bedding supplies are mainly of natural materials and from eco-friendly suppliers. All rooms are air-conditioned(with option for fan), with attached bathrooms and eco-friendly toiletries. Complimentary Amenities in All rooms include: High-speed WiFi (individual IP address), LED TV with streaming channels (Netflix or HBO-go), hair dryer,  drinking water, and tea/coffee making. Some rooms come with an iron/ironing board. In line with the hospitality industry worldwide, we have eliminated the use of single-use toiletries. If you would like to assist us further in our environmental efforts during your stay, kindly let us know.

We know how internet connectivity is important to travelers. With our recent refurbishments, All areas & Rooms at Betel Nut Lodge are connected with Complimentary High-Speed WiFi. What's more, our refurbishments include installation of individual LAN Cables, and router access (with each room having an individual IP address) for our guests’ faster and better internet security.

Our newly minted Teaffin Cafe on the ground floor is also equipped with its own High-speed Wifi and power charging points. So, Guests staying at Betel Nut Lodge will have COMPLIMENTARY fast & smooth Internet connection 24/7 throughout.

Taxi orders are Complimentary for our Guests. Taxi Order preferably 24 hours in Advance. We are Unable to order e-rides (eg GrabCar,etc). The Guests agree that this service rendered is with a third party contractor and Betel Nut Lodge shall Not be liable for any damage/loss of material goods or injuries or death in the event this should occur from the use of this service.

We can assist should you wish to order taxi services from a Registered Taxi operator. However, we are Unable to order transport from e-hailing services like Grab Car, etc.
